Checkpoint Charlie is one of the best known restaurants in the city center оf Sofia. It exist for more than 19 years, our guests have been names like Umberto Eco, Didi Bridgewater, Stanley Clarke, Misia, Lashek Balcerowicz and many others. Our regular visitors were also all American ambassadors from 2004 tillnow (James Pardew, John Beyrle, Nancy McEldowney, James Warlick, Jr., Marcie B. Ries).
Each of them hasleft behindnot only good memories but some of  their  thoughts on the walls of Charlie. Thatis what makes the atmosphere in restaurant Checkpoint Charlie unique.
Every Friday night here sounds our favorite jazz music performed live by the best - Sofia jazz musicians - Itsko Finzi, Vasil Parmakov Veselin Veselinov - Eco, Bob Petrov Acho Zeberski Dimitar Shanov Boris Taslev Martin Markov, Alex Kouzmanov etc.
